THE FIRST ANNUAL
The 1st Annual ‘Behind the Walls’ car show will take place inside the historic walls of the Kansas State Penitentiary on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This unique event, sponsored by the Lansing Historical Society and Museum, offers a rare chance to visit the former prison, now open for tours. Registration will occur at the LHS Museum at 115 East Kansas Avenue. The entry fee is $25. However, there’s a special perk for drivers – their entry is free! For visitors, the cost is $25 for adults and $12 for children.
This is not just a car show, but a significant fundraiser to benefit the Lansing Historical Society and Museum. Your participation will make a difference.
