We’re excited to announce the Behind the Walls Car Show, hosted at Kansas State Penitentiary (KSP) on Saturday, September 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It’s more than a show—it’s a historic experience.
Highlights:
- Pre-registration convenience: Register early, receive your entry by email, print it, and drive straight through Gate 3.
- Day of registration: Opens at 8 a.m. at the front entrance of KSP. Look for signs.
- Trophies awarded for People’s Choice in Cars, Trucks, and Cycles—with votes tallied and winners announced at the end of the show.
- Featuring a performance by Exit 13, led by former LCF Warden Rex Pryor. Food truck available on site.
Entry fee for guests: $25. This unique event blends community, history, and fun. Meetings of history buffs, car enthusiasts, family groups, and tourists alike are all welcome.
