The tours cost $30.00 per person. Children under the age of 12 are not admitted.

All tours begin at the Lansing Historical Society and Museum at 115 East Kansas – A fully restored A.T.&S.F. Depot.

Join the many tourists who have embarked on this fascinating journey through time and history. The fun begins at the Lansing Historical Society and Museum, 115 East Kansas (on the front lawn of KSP), where we’ve gathered Kansas State Penitentiary memorabilia since 1991.

The tours are on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9 to 11 a.m., 12 to 2 p.m., and 3 to 5 p.m.

The photography tours start at 3 p.m. and typically last 2 to 3 hours. They are designed for individuals with cameras and follow the same route as the other tours.

During the tour, you will have the amazing opportunity to pass through this gate and explore one of the many captivating places on the itinerary.
