Tours start at the Lansing Historical Society & Museum

All tours will begin at the Lansing Historical Society and Museum located on the front lawn of the prison in a fully restored Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Depot,

115 East Kansas Avenue.

Feel free to take photos inside the walls on all tours!

NO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12 ALLOWED

We cannot allow children under the age of 12 inside the walls of the Kansas State Penitentiary. If you attempt to bring your children, you will not be allowed on the tour and you will be issued a refund.
